Day Trip: Millbrook Winery

For me, there is nothing better then curling up on the couch with a stack of magazines and a bottle of wine. Living in the Hudson Valley has its perks when it comes to the variety of wineries you can visit. In the summer and early fall I love to visit one of my absolute favorite wineries, Millbrook Winery in Millbrook, NY. It’s absolutely stunning from the drive up through the rows of grape vines to the gorgeous tour through the winery. Ever year there is a new person guiding the tour so you learn something different each time, so I never pass it up. Their tour guides are so knowledgeable and friendly; they really make you feel at home. During your wine tasting they offer you a taste of their homegrown olive oil that is to die for. An added bonus is the souvenir wine glass with their logo and the year you attended. If you ever visit the Hudson Valley, take a drive to Millbrook Winery you wont be sorry.

New Year New Blog
{ Goodbye 2010! Hello New Year !}
It has been some time now since I have updated, but it is a new year and its time for a change. I have decided to modify the idea of Nico Assatly. It’s turned into more of a lifestyle blog and not just about fashion. I am so inspired by my fellow bloggers and so many of their ideas I just have to try for myself and I can not stick to one thing. Coming Soon...
Its been a long time since I have updated my blog and that is because life happens. I truly don't like not updating and making daily posts. So being that its only 3 months in to the new year I have decided to make a fresh start. I am going to be giving Nico Assatly a face lift. I want to make this site better for my readers. So with this being said I hope to launch a new site by April, if not sooner. Hope to be back soon. Thanks so much !

Metro Source Magazine's 20th Anniversary Party
I was invited to Metro Source Magazines 20th Anniversary Party on November 12th at one of the hottest clubs in NYC Greenhouse. The place was amazing, from top to bottom in a green house look. This was one of the best parties that Metro Source has thrown in the past few years. They had everything from body painted girls and guys, magazine poster boys, a great DJ, and of course an Absolute open bar. One of my favorite parts was the photo booth that they had there with props. It was such a great party!

Happy Anniversary !
Today is my 3 year anniversary with my boyfriend. So I am going to make this short and sweet, so that I can enjoy my day with him.
